The Concept

Its simple. Every day of 2011 I'll take a photo thats relevant to my life on that day. It could be something beautiful that catches my eye or something more literal that sums up my day. I'll regularly post the images up on this blog (can't promise I'll post every day!) right through till the end of 2011. This year is set to be one of my most life-changing and I can't wait to capture the memory of every day.

Cake Time! 8/365

My lovely friend Louise of Moreish Food made a batch of her delicious cupcakes for my birthday :-) It pays to have friends with cake businesses!

Its a dog's life 7/365

The cute dog on this interiors shoot was far more photogenic than the house I was shooting. You've gotta love that scruffy hair!

Baby Its Cold Outside 6/365

The thick layer of snow in the garden has barely thawed before the temperature drops again! Its icy outside and there's snow on its way tomorrow, so I'm staying in snuggled up next to the fire tonight.

Get to the Point 5/365

The view inside my sharps bin shows what has become a daily part of my life. These spear- headed bullets sting like hell, but its a small price to pay to make sure my blood is thin as water. Come to think of it, maybe thats why I'm so cold at the moment!

Back to Work 4/365

The holidays have to come to an end at some time and I suppose 4th January is as good a day as any. I love my job, but despise paperwork - looks like I'll have to tackle that full in tray before I can get on with the fun stuff though :-(

My New Obsession 3/365

Having just gotten over my almost manic insistence of having a constant supply of Britvic 55 to guzzle, I hit a new obsession - crunchy nut cornflakes. Like some sort of fortified cereal junkie, I'm on 3 or 4 a day (bowls that is, not flakes). Wonder how long this one will last?

All over for another year 2/365

The decorations, lights, tinsel and tat have all been taken down for another year and the house looks strangely bare. The next time we get these decorations out will be for our best Christmas ever.

Happy Anniversary 1/365

Technically its our wedding anniversary on New Years Eve but this image was taken on New Year's Day. A beautiful bouquet from my mother in law to mark eight blissfully happy years of marriage.
